Peeping Tom Arrested in Carrollton After String of Apartment Break-Ins and Sex Crimes

CARROLLTON, Ga. – Carrollton Police have arrested a suspect linked to a series of overnight residential incidents reported between August and October 2025 across several local apartment complexes.
Detectives from the department’s Criminal Investigations Division identified and apprehended 25-year-old Bennard Gregory McMorris II of Ellenwood, Georgia, on October 8, 2025. The investigation uncovered multiple offenses connected to incidents at River Pointe, The Towns, Octiv Row, Flagship, Carrollton Crossing, and The Reserve Apartments.
McMorris currently faces charges including first-degree burglary, multiple counts of Peeping Tom, child molestation, and sexual exploitation of children. Police say additional charges may follow as the investigation continues.
