Albany Police Investigating Two Overnight Shootings That Left Two Injured

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, leaving two people hospitalized.

The first incident happened around 11:15 p.m. on October 13 in the 2500 block of Redwood Court. Officers found a man in his mid-twenties suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Just over an hour later, around 12:30 a.m. on October 14, officers responded to another shooting in the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive. A 17-year-old male walking in the area was shot multiple times. He was also taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Police say there is currently no suspect information in either case. Both investigations remain active, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
