Defendant: Damien Doming

RINGGOLD, Ga.—A Catoosa County jury has found Damien Doming guilty of multiple charges, including Aggravated Sodomy on a Child Less than Ten Years of Age, leading to a sentence of Life in prison.

Doming was sentenced on October 1, 2025, by Catoosa County Superior Court Judge Chris Arnt. The conviction also included charges of Aggravated Child Molestation, Incest, and Child Molestation.

The case originated from a 2024 disclosure by a nine-year-old child who revealed that Doming, a former stepfather, had sexually assaulted the child while they lived together in Ringgold.

District Attorney Clayton M. Fuller commented on the sentence: “If you harm the most vulnerable in our circuit… we are going to find you, hunt you down, and put you in prison for the rest of your miserable life.”

The case was investigated by the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office and successfully tried by Senior Assistant District Attorney Beth Evans, with key support from the Children’s Advocacy Center.
