GBI and Henry County Police Arrest Five in Human Trafficking Operation

Henry County, GA – On September 25, 2025, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit partnered with the Henry County Police Department to conduct a targeted operation aimed at reducing demand in the commercial sex trade.
The operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals who were charged with Pandering:
- Scout Bigger, 25, of Woodstock – Bartender
- Isaac Irizarry, 26, of Lawrenceville – Clarke County Sheriff’s Office Jailer
- De’Montae Martin, 26, of Gainesville – Occupation unknown
- Darroyln Simmons, 55, of Locust Grove – U.S. Customs Agent
- Kerry Vanderford, 55, of Hampton – Teacher at Luella High School
All five suspects were booked into the Henry County Jail and have since bonded out.
During the operation, authorities recovered one woman who was provided immediate assistance and connected with victim support services to ensure her safety.
