Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Seizes 30 Guns and 0K in Drugs in 30-Day Operation

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) announced the results of a 30-day investigation that targeted drug trafficking organizations and fugitives, leading to the seizure of firearms, large amounts of narcotics, and cash.

Results of the Operation:

  • 30 Firearms seized
  • 30.8 pounds of Marijuana – estimated value $139,706
  • 1.1 pounds of Methamphetamine – estimated value $51,000
  • 208 grams of Amphetamine (502 pills) – estimated value $6,024
  • 101 Oxycodone pills – estimated value $2,020
  • 80 Xanax pills – estimated value $1,600
  • 31 grams of Cocaine – estimated value $3,100
  • 9 grams of Ecstasy – estimated value $240
  • Total narcotics seized: valued at $203,690
  • $21,144.63 in U.S. Currency seized
  • 2 Vehicles pending seizure

The operation was led by the MCSO Collaborative Intelligence Group, Special Operation Unit, and Patrol Bureau, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s office, several search warrants were executed during the effort, resulting in multiple arrests and the dismantling of drug trafficking operations in the area.

“We won’t stop until the criminals do,” the MCSO stated. “We are committed to removing firearms from the hands of those who should not have them and disrupting criminal enterprises in our county. We are not backing down until Muscogee County is a safer place to work and live.”

Investigations remain ongoing, and additional details—including arrests—will be released as cases progress.
