GBI Assists in Dublin Shooting Investigation After Victim Dies from Injuries

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is assisting the Dublin Police Department in an aggravated assault case that has now turned into a homicide following the victim’s death.

On August 20, 2025, at about 9:30 p.m., Dublin police officers were called to the 200 block of Riverview Drive, where a citizen discovered a man lying outside the Riverview Apartments with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Johnny Hall IV of East Dublin, was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

On August 26, 2025, authorities confirmed that Hall died from his injuries.

The investigation remains active, and no arrests have been made at this time.
