Atlanta GoodFellas Gang Members Sentenced for Drug and Firearms Trafficking

ATLANTA—Two members of the Atlanta-based GoodFellas street gang have been sentenced to federal prison for distributing methamphetamine and other drugs, U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg announced.

Corey Boyer, 26, also known as “Baby Joker,” was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison. Antonio Smith, 27, also known as “Ace,” received a sentence of 14 years and 2 months. Both sentences are to be followed by five years of supervised release.

According to court documents, Boyer and Smith operated a “fortified trap house” to fund the gang’s criminal activities, which included drug and firearms trafficking. In spring 2024, the FBI, working with other law enforcement agencies, began investigating the gang’s drug trafficking at a west Atlanta apartment complex.

In August 2024, a search warrant was executed at an apartment, where agents found Smith carrying an unserialized machinegun. Boyer was found inside with six firearms, body armor, counterfeit currency, suspected machinegun conversion devices, and significant quantities of marijuana, methamphetamine, MDMA, cocaine, and psilocybin mushrooms.

Smith pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a machine gun, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Boyer pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

U.S. Attorney Hertzberg stated, “Our office continues to closely coordinate with our federal, state, and local law enforcement partners to investigate, prosecute, and punish gang members who pose a clear and present danger to our community.”

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Atlanta Police Department.
