Jones County Deputies Arrest Woman on Parole Warrant, Seize Methamphetamine

Haddock, GA – On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, investigators from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, along with the K-9 Unit and Lt. Ransom, conducted a follow-up investigation at a residence in Haddock in connection with a theft of services case.

Investigators were familiar with the property and knew that Megan Hodges, who had an outstanding parole warrant, lived there. Upon arrival, Hodges was observed standing on the front porch but fled inside the home when she saw patrol vehicles.

Investigator Hall and K-9 Handler Lt. Carr pursued Hodges, who locked herself in a bedroom. Deputies forced entry into the room and took Hodges into custody without further incident. She faces charges of:

  • Possession of methamphetamine (two counts)
  • Obstruction
  • Theft of services

While securing Hodges, deputies encountered five additional individuals inside the residence. A search warrant was executed on the property, and Terrell Sanders, also present in the home, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

The Jones County Sheriff’s Office praised the teamwork of its deputies and K-9 Unit for the successful operation.
