Two Injured in Lithonia Shooting; Police Seek Armed Suspect

On August 18, 2025, at approximately 3:47 p.m., Lithonia Police responded to a reported shooting in the 2300 block of Smokey Row.

Officers arriving on scene found two victims. A 60-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. His 51-year-old girlfriend was struck in the face with a handgun and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police have issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) for 56-year-old Mark Clark, who is wanted in connection with the shooting and assault. Clark is described as a Black male, 6’1”, 160 pounds, born January 23, 1969, and considered armed and dangerous.

Clark may be driving a tan Toyota Corolla or a gray Honda Odyssey with Georgia tag XMU922. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Lithonia Police CID immediately.
