One Juvenile Killed, Three Injured in Shooting Outside Augusta Auto Parts Store

AUGUSTA, GA — One juvenile is dead and three others injured following a shooting that occurred Sunday evening, August 3, 2025, in the parking lot of the Advance Auto Parts store located at Meadowbrook Drive and Deans Bridge Road.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the scene around 5:15 p.m. and found four juvenile victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were transported to area hospitals—one listed in critical condition and two in stable condition.

Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen responded to the scene. The incident prompted a large-scale response from law enforcement. Crime Suppression Team members, K9 units, and the S.W.A.T. team canvassed the Meadowbrook neighborhood in search of suspects.

Investigators are continuing to interview witnesses and process evidence. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information has been released at this time.
