Twin Brothers Arrested in 2024 Savannah Homicide on Highway 204

CHATHAM COUNTY, GA – The Chatham County Police Department has arrested 24-year-old twin brothers, Jamond Reid and Jatwone Reid, in connection with a July 25, 2024, homicide on Highway 204 near Interstate 95 (Savannah, GA).

Both men are charged with one count of Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault in the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Tre’von Moorer. According to investigators, Moorer was driving on Highway 204 when he was approached by armed suspects and shot.

Police credit the arrest to the continued efforts of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division and support from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF).

“The detectives in our Criminal Investigations Division have proven – once again – their tireless dedication to resolving every case,” said Police Chief Jeff Hadley. “In addition to thanking our detectives for their outstanding work, I would like to thank the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms for their invaluable assistance during this investigation.”
