Top 10 Most Wanted Suspect Captured in Rockdale County

ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA — On Friday, July 25, 2025, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) arrested 24-year-old Heaven Smith of Conyers, one of the agency’s Top 10 Most Wanted fugitives. The arrest followed an extensive investigation and was made with assistance from the DeKalb Police Department (DKPD).

Smith was taken into custody without incident, and RCSO officials expressed appreciation to DKPD for their support in the operation.

Smith faces the following charges stemming from a March 30, 2024 incident:

• Aggravated Assault (Felony)
• Home Invasion – 1st Degree (Felony)
• Possession of a Firearm or Knife During Commission of or Attempt to Commit Felonies (Felony)
• Cruelty to Children – 3rd Degree (Misdemeanor)

Smith was booked into the Rockdale County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
