Two Arrested in Connection with 2023 Homicide at Safe Haven Mobile Home Park

MACON, GA – Authorities have made two arrests this month in connection with the October 2023 death of David Lamar Morgan at the Safe Haven Mobile Home Park. The U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended both suspects.
On Monday, July 21, 2025, just before 11:00 a.m., U.S. Marshals arrested Tylon Andrevious Alexander, 19, of Macon. Alexander was wanted in connection to Morgan’s death. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and has been charged with Murder. Alexander was also wanted in Houston County and is currently being held without bond.
This follows an earlier arrest on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. After receiving a Crime Stoppers tip, U.S. Marshals responded to a residence on Mikado Avenue and apprehended Tyrone Jerry Briscoe, 44, of Macon. Briscoe was also wanted in connection to Morgan’s death. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Briscoe was wanted in Jones County and in Bibb County for a range of charges, including Probation Violation, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Trafficking Methamphetamines, and Murder. Briscoe is currently being held without bond.
