Centerville Teen Arrested After Vehicle With Racist, Lewd Messages Found Outside Gym

CENTERVILLE, Ga. — On July 19, 2025, officers with the Centerville Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance involving a vehicle displaying racist and lewd language parked outside Crunch Fitness.
Following an investigation, authorities arrested 17-year-old Sage Kolbe of Centerville. On July 22, 2025, Kolbe was formally charged with Removing or affixing a license plate with the intent to conceal or misrepresent and Knowingly driving a motor vehicle with suspended, canceled, or revoked registration.
Kolbe was taken into custody at his residence by units from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division without incident and was transported to the Houston County Detention Center.
Chief Cedric Duncan stated, “This incident was investigated as a collaborative effort with our local law enforcement agencies in Middle Georgia. The overwhelming amount of information that was provided by the public was critical in identifying this subject. More arrests may be pending.”
