Metro Atlanta Chamber Extends Downtown Lease Through 2037 Amid .5M Tower Renovation

ATLANTA – The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) has extended its lease at the 191 Peachtree Tower through July 2037, continuing its presence in the landmark building where it has operated since 2016.

Located on the 34th floor, MAC’s 25,470-square-foot headquarters features panoramic views and serves as a collaborative workspace and regional event venue. The announcement comes as 191 Peachtree undergoes a $4.5 million renovation, aiming to blend its historic significance with modern updates.

“As a 166-year-old organization rooted in shaping metro Atlanta’s future, it’s important for us to be located in the center of the region,” said Katie Kirkpatrick, president & CEO of MAC. “This renewed commitment to 191 Peachtree reflects our confidence in downtown’s continued momentum and our role in helping it strengthen.”

The chamber’s relocation to 191 Peachtree in 2016 followed nearly three decades at a nearby site close to what is now Centennial Olympic Park. That area, once surrounded by vacant buildings and surface lots, has since transformed into a central hub of downtown activity.

JLL’s Josh Hirsh and Ryanne Pennington represented MAC in the lease renewal process. The deal reaffirms MAC’s dedication to its mission of advancing metro Atlanta’s economy, talent, and community from the heart of the city’s business district.
