Two Crashes on I-75 in Macon Leave Multiple Injured Thursday Afternoon

MACON, GA — Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to two separate collisions on Interstate 75 North on Thursday afternoon, July 10, 2025, resulting in multiple injuries and traffic delays.
The first crash occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. and involved a white sedan and a white pickup truck. The vehicles were traveling northbound when the collision occurred. Three individuals were reported injured and transported by ambulance to a nearby medical facility for treatment. All lanes have since reopened. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Just minutes later, at 2:10 p.m., deputies responded to a second crash on Interstate 75 North, just past the Rocky Creek Road on-ramp. According to reports, the driver of a black SUV hydroplaned and struck the barrier. Both the driver and a passenger sustained injuries and were transported to a medical facility by ambulance.
Both incidents are currently under investigation by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
