Six of the individuals—Walker, Blockett, Walton, Hatcher, Willett, and Jenkins—were charged with:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime

Blockett and Jenkins also face additional charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Amiya Graham was charged with Disorderly Conduct.

During the operation, Marquise Walker was found wearing a necklace believed to have been stolen during a robbery involving Xavion Wimberly, who was fatally injured in a hit-and-run. Walker claimed he found the necklace on Deans Bridge Road near the site of the incident. Wimberly’s father positively identified the necklace, leading to an additional charge of Felony Theft by Taking against Walker.

The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Burke County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Gino Brantley commended the joint effort, stating, “This is a prime example of what we can achieve when agencies work together. By building partnerships across the CSRA, we will reduce crime and create safer communities for all our citizens.”
