Augusta Shooting Leaves Two Wounded; Suspect At Large

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred late Monday night, July 7, 2025, in the 700 block of E Bulla Street in Augusta. Two individuals, an adult male and a juvenile, sustained gunshot wounds and transported themselves to a local hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.

Deputies responded to reports of shots fired and “two people down” at approximately 11:17 p.m. Upon arrival, they were notified that the victims had already left for medical treatment. The suspect had fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Investigators are currently working on the case, and no additional information is available at this time.
