Two Teens Arrested in I-20 Road Rage Shooting That Injured Two

Investigators with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, arrested two 17-year-olds in connection with a road rage shooting that occurred on June 29, 2025, on I-20 at mile marker 196.
Miranda Myers, of the 200 block of Gustav Court in North Augusta, and Cameron Howard, of the 4100 block of Sapling Lane in Augusta, were both charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault. Howard also faces an additional charge of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:29 p.m. and resulted in two victims being transported to Doctors Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.
Both suspects are currently being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
