Carrollton Man Charged After Stabbing Manager in Head at Hardee’s Restaurant

A 31-year-old Carrollton man, Ramario Monuma, has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a 33-year-old Bremen woman in the head with a large kitchen knife at a Hardee’s restaurant on South Park Street.
The incident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, according to a report by Carrollton Police Sgt. Richard Cheatwood. Officers responded to the scene and provided aid to the victim, who was later transported to an Atlanta-area hospital. She was last reported to be alert and communicating.
Monuma, identified as an employee of the restaurant, had fled the scene before officers arrived. The victim, a manager at the same location, had reportedly been attacked during a workplace incident. Officers located Monuma soon after and recovered the knife, which appeared to have been discarded off a bypass bridge.
Court documents list Monuma as homeless and detail a history of violent behavior. In 2022, he was placed on probation after throwing a rock at a moving vehicle driven by an off-duty officer and, in a separate incident, punching another individual. In 2023, he was accused of hurling a large piece of concrete into a car and was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. A court-ordered mental evaluation was requested in one of the cases, but specific findings remain unavailable.
Monuma is currently being held at the Carroll County Jail.
