Duluth Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Motorcycle Crash

A Duluth man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Monday, June 23, 2025, according to the Duluth Police Department.
At approximately 4:01 p.m., the Duluth Police Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle crash on Summit Ridge Parkway near the intersection of Tree Summit Parkway.
Responding officers found a motorcycle and an unresponsive male, identified as Benjamin Reese, 32, of Duluth, lying in the grass off the roadway. The Gwinnett County Fire Department pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The Duluth Police Department’s Accident Investigations Unit (AIU) responded to investigate. Based on evidence and witness statements, investigators determined that Reese was traveling northbound on Summit Ridge Parkway when he lost control of the motorcycle, left the roadway, and crashed.
The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of Mr. Reese.
