Brookhaven Police Investigating Fatal Shooting of 15-Year-Old Near Clairmont Road

The Brookhaven Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old male that occurred on the night of Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot at approximately 10:49 p.m. on the Northeast Expressway between Briarwood Road and the rear entrance of 2924 Clairmont Road. Upon arrival, officers located the teenage victim and provided medical assistance until emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Through preliminary investigation, detectives determined that the shooting likely occurred near the McDonald’s at 3334 Clairmont Road. Investigators are continuing to review evidence and interview witnesses as they work to establish the events leading up to the incident.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains active.
