Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Man for Aggravated Assault in East Augusta

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has issued a “Wanted” alert for Timothy Andrew Heath, 28, in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Thursday, June 19, near the intersection of Sand Bar Ferry Road and Interstate 520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) in East Augusta (near South Carolina border).

Heath is described as approximately 5’8″ tall and weighing 170 lbs. He was last seen driving an older model black Ford F-150 with Georgia tag CNI4705. Authorities warn that the Georgia tag CNI4705 is not registered to the vehicle pictured in their alert but belongs to another vehicle owned by Heath. The black truck may have heavy front-end damage.

The public is advised to use caution as Heath may be armed and dangerous.
