Two Teens Arrested in Connection to Shooting That Injured Six at Snellville Park

The Snellville Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with the May 31, 2025, shooting at T.W. Briscoe Park that left six people injured, including five teenagers and one adult.

The suspects have been identified as 17-year-old Joshua Senai Zere of Stone Mountain and 17-year-old Eric Andre Meier-Harris of Dacula. Zere was taken into custody on June 11 and charged with five counts of Party to the Crime of Aggravated Assault. Meier-Harris was arrested the evening of June 12 and charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault.

The shooting occurred during a large gathering of young people at the park located at 2500 Sayer Parkway. At the time of the incident, police reported that the victims ranged in age from 14 to 17. The adult victim’s identity and condition have not been released.

Investigators confirmed that this shooting was unrelated to a second shooting at the same park the following day, June 1, which resulted in the death of one adult male.
