Four Former Employees Arrested for Embezzlement at Thomasville Restaurant

The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division has arrested four former employees following an investigation into an employee theft and embezzlement scheme at a local restaurant in Thomasville, Georgia.

The investigation began after the corporation’s management conducted a review of financial records in response to an internal complaint. The review revealed an ongoing theft that had taken place over an extended period of time.

As a result of the investigation, authorities arrested Dawn Russell, 41; Dion Wright, 37; Gernesha Taplin, 20; and Keyairah Burton, 19. All four individuals face criminal charges related to the theft.

The investigation remains active as officials continue to gather and analyze additional information.
