Suspects Armed with Machete Rob Dollar General in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett County Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on May 19, 2025, at the Dollar General located at 2100 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road.

According to police, two male suspects entered the store while it was open for business. One suspect was armed with a machete. The suspects held one employee down and forced another to open the store’s safe. They fled the scene with three empty deposit bags and the victims’ cellphones.

The first suspect is described as a Black male, tall and slender, wearing a white uniform-style button-down shirt with what appeared to be a company or employee name, black pants, black sneakers, a black beanie, and a black mask. The second suspect, also described as a Black male, tall and slender, wore a white button-down shirt, black jeans, black and white sneakers, a black ski mask, and was carrying an all-black machete.
