Suspected Road Rage Shooter Arrested in Macon

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division deputies have taken into custody a male suspect involved in a road rage incident where a shot was fired into another vehicle. The incident occurred off North Pierce Avenue, where the driver of a Dodge Challenger allegedly fired the weapon during the altercation.

Deputies located and arrested the suspect at a residence on General Winship Drive before transporting him to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. He faces charges including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and aggressive driving.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
