Douglas Mother and Boyfriend Charged in Death of 7-Month-Old Infant

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested Guillermo “Will” Pineda, 29, and Hannah Green, 27, both of Douglas, Georgia, in connection with the death of Green’s 7-month-old infant. Green is the mother of the child, and Pineda is her boyfriend.
Pineda has been charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Battery, and Cruelty to Children in the First Degree. Green faces charges of Cruelty to Children in the Second Degree and Tampering with Evidence.
On June 6, 2025, at approximately 9:50 a.m., Coffee County 911 received a report of a medical emergency at a residence on Kamera Road. When emergency personnel arrived, they found the infant unresponsive and without a heartbeat. The child was resuscitated at Coffee Regional Medical Center and transferred to Savannah Memorial Hospital for advanced care. Medical staff discovered multiple injuries consistent with abuse. The infant died on June 9, 2025.
Preliminary investigation indicates Pineda had a history of abusing the child, and Green was aware of the ongoing abuse. Authorities allege Green attempted to conceal information that showed Pineda’s history of abuse and her knowledge of it.
An autopsy will be performed by the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office in Pooler, Georgia, to determine the official cause and manner of death.
Both Pineda and Green were taken into custody without incident and remain held at the Coffee County Jail.
