Bainbridge Man Arrested on Child Molestation, Enticing Charges After GBI Investigation

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested and charged 21-year-old Dylan Gabriel Cofty of Bainbridge, Georgia, with one count of Child Molestation and one count of Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.
The investigation began on June 2, 2025, when the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office requested GBI assistance regarding allegations of child molestation against Cofty. During the course of their investigation, GBI agents and investigators identified one victim. They also determined that the alleged acts occurred in Decatur County, rather than Seminole County.
Cofty was taken into custody on June 9, 2025, and subsequently booked into the Decatur County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
