16-Year-Old Arrested for Murder in Macon Apartment Death Investigation

On June 11, 2025, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with the June 5 death of Marcus Cunningham Jr. at Autumn Trace Apartments in Macon.

The juvenile suspect was taken into custody without incident after investigators executed an arrest warrant at a Macon residence. He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters for questioning and later booked into the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center, where he faces a charge of murder.
