Cleveland Man Arrested for Meth Trafficking and Firearm Offenses

On June 3, 2025, the White County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Richard Lee of Cleveland, GA, following an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in the White County area.

Deputies executed a search warrant at Lee’s residence on Young Drive. During the search, investigators discovered over an ounce of methamphetamine, packaging materials, drug-related objects, and two firearms.

Lee was taken into custody and charged with multiple offenses, including:

  • Trafficking Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Drug Related Objects
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (2 counts)
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (2 counts)

The investigation remains ongoing.
