Suspected Meth and Stolen Property Recovered at Monroe County Home; One Arrested

On Monday, June 2, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s Office investigators assisted the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office in recovering stolen property at a residence located at 195 Gibson Road.
During the investigation, authorities discovered suspected methamphetamine and multiple items believed to be stolen, including property linked to a storage unit theft in Macon. Investigators believe additional recovered items may have been stolen from locations across Central Georgia.
James Moore, 40, was arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He is currently being held without bond at the Monroe County Jail. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
