Haralson County Man Arrested in Child Sexual Abuse Material Investigation

Bradley Curtis Kingsley, a 63-year-old white male from Tallapoosa, Georgia, was arrested on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, and is facing multiple charges of Felony Sexual Exploitation of Children. The arrest was the result of an ongoing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) investigation by the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began in May 2025, when Investigator Nicole Wilson, the Crimes Against Children and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) specialist, received a cybertip from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s ICAC system. The cybertip contained information about several movies of pre-pubescent children involved in sexual acts that had been uploaded to a Verizon account.
Investigator Wilson successfully identified Kingsley as the account holder, his residence, and matched other information, including an IP address linked to one of the uploads. After securing the necessary warrants, the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office utilized the services of K-9 Maxim, an Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) K-9, and Deputy Melinda Flood from the Murray County Sheriff’s Office. ESD K-9s are specially trained to detect electronic devices that can store data by sniffing out specific chemical compounds.
During the arrest and search warrant execution, investigators found a laptop actively playing CSAM. Following a thorough, three-hour search of the home, K-9 Maxim and Deputy Flood located nine additional hidden electronic storage devices.
Sheriff Stacy Williams commended Investigator Wilson’s work and extended his gratitude to the Murray County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance. “One of my biggest priorities when I took office was to protect kids,” said Sheriff Williams. “We remain dedicated to helping and protecting all children.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
