Savannah Police Seek Identities of Four Persons in May 24 Congress Street Shooting

The Savannah Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying four individuals captured in surveillance photos (Attachments A-G) in connection with a May 24 shooting that injured four people in the 100 block of W. Congress Street.

Officers responded to the area at approximately 2:10 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police located three adult male victims on the sidewalk, each suffering from serious gunshot wounds.

A fourth male victim later arrived at Memorial Health University Medical Center, transported by a third party.

Investigators determined that the incident followed a physical altercation between two groups, which escalated to gunfire.

The investigation remains active. Anyone with information about the identity of the individuals in the photos is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
