Two Men Killed in Pineview Shooting; GBI Investigating Homicide

UPDATE: Quintavis Holt, age 39, of Pineview, GA is wanted for 2 counts of Malice Murder, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, and 1 count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony in connection to the double homicide that took place on May 25, 2025, in Wilcox County, GA.

Holt is considered armed and dangerous.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has launched a homicide investigation at the request of the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office after two men were fatally shot in Pineview early Sunday morning.

According to preliminary details, the shooting occurred around 12:00 a.m. on May 25, 2025, at a residence in the 200 block of Depot Street. Several people had gathered at the home when gunfire broke out.

Two individuals were struck and died at the scene. The victims have been identified as 36-year-old Nathadius Kenta Lawson and 40-year-old Charleston Calix, both of Pineview.

The investigation by the GBI remains active and ongoing.
