Three Arrested at Macon Motel With Altered Firearms, One Wanted on Warrant

Three individuals were taken into custody by Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Property Investigators during a special detail on Holiday Drive North in Macon.

The arrests occurred in the parking lot of the Haven Inn & Suites motel, where investigators located the suspects inside a Honda Civic. A loaded handgun was found on the floorboard, and additional firearms with altered serial numbers were also recovered from the vehicle.

One of the suspects was wanted on an outstanding warrant. All three were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. Charges include possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, probation violation, giving false name, address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer, and criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark.
