Juvenile Arrested in Connection with Double Attempted Armed Robberies in Savannah

The Savannah Police Department (SPD) has arrested a juvenile male suspect in connection with two attempted armed robberies that occurred on May 22, targeting commercial establishments in the 700 block of Stephenson Avenue and the 1000 block of Eisenhower Drive.

SPD officers first responded to the CVS on Stephenson Avenue at approximately 9:15 a.m. following reports of an attempted armed robbery. The armed suspect, a juvenile male, fled the scene.

Shortly thereafter, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the same suspect attempted a second unsuccessful robbery at Savannah RX on Eisenhower Drive, where he was detained by officers.

The juvenile male suspect was arrested for armed robbery and transported to Chatham County’s Regional Youth Detention Center.
