Two Arrested in Miller County For Sexually Abusing 15-year-old Girl

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested and charged two men from Colquitt, GA, in connection with a child sex offense investigation involving a 15-year-old female student from Miller County High School.

Quantavious Mennette, 25, has been charged with Grooming, Child Molestation, Computer or Electronic Pornography, and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes. Quinterious King, 23, has been charged with Grooming, Child Molestation, Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes, and Sexual Battery.

The investigation began on Monday, May 19, 2025, when the Miller County Sheriff’s Office requested GBI assistance regarding a report they received concerning possible sexual contact between a 15-year-old female student and an adult male.

GBI agents responded and collaborated with investigators from the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, conducting interviews with the victim and multiple witnesses. Information gathered during these interviews led agents to identify and question Mennette and King. Based on the findings, arrest warrants were obtained for both men.

Mennette and King have been booked into the Miller County Jail. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
