Serial Indecent Exposure Suspect Arrested in West Georgia Dollar General Cases

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit has arrested Zani Kenneth Brown on outstanding warrants from Douglas County and multiple other jurisdictions, bringing an end to a series of indecent exposure incidents at Dollar General stores across West Georgia.

Sheriff’s investigators identified Brown as the individual who, in April 2024, entered the Dollar General on Midway Road in Douglas County and exposed himself to customers.

Working in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies over the past several months, Brown was identified as the perpetrator targeting Dollar General stores in multiple West Georgia counties, including Paulding and Haralson counties, where he would expose himself to customers. Authorities cited video evidence and vehicle footage from the stores as key in identifying him.

Brown is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Douglas County today.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude for the cooperation of their law enforcement partners, particularly the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, in apprehending Brown.
