Lawrenceville Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on Pine Valley Drive

The Lawrenceville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning, resulting in the death of a 38-year-old male victim.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot in the 100 block of Pine Valley Drive. Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious male lying in the driveway with at least one gunshot wound. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but the victim showed no signs of life and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers and detectives immediately began processing the scene, canvassing for witnesses, and reviewing available surveillance footage. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and the shooter were known to each other.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The case remains active and is in its early stages.
