Five Arrested After Meth Trafficking Bust in Stephens County Home

A drug investigation led by the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office resulted in five arrests on Thursday, May 15, 2025, after a search warrant was executed at a residence on Lake Harbor Trail.
Authorities seized approximately 45 grams of suspected methamphetamine during the search. The following individuals, all from Martin, were arrested and charged in connection with the case:
- Harley Justus, 23 — Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Tampering with Evidence
- Teresa French, 55 — Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Use of a Communication Facility in Commission of a Felony Involving Controlled Substances
- Karen Chastain, 58 — Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Two Counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Use of a Communication Facility in Commission of a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Felony Tampering with Evidence
- Brittany Davis, 23 — Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Felony Tampering with Evidence
- James Brian Davis, 44 — Use of a Communication Facility in Commission of a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, with additional outstanding warrants for felony probation violation out of Fulton County and felony parole violation
