Two Arrested After SWAT Standoff on Bahama Drive in Augusta
In the early hours of Monday, May 19, 2025, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire in the 2400 block of Bahama Drive in Augusta at approximately 2:37 a.m.
Deputies arrived at the scene and spoke with a male subject who reported that he had been shot at by multiple individuals in the area. Following a brief standoff involving the Richmond County SWAT team, authorities were able to take two suspects into custody without incident.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No further details have been released at this time.
