Suspect Arrested in Georgia for Two Columbus Smoke Shop Robberies

A suspect is in custody following investigations into two separate robberies at local “101 Smoke Shop” locations.

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, Columbus Police Officers responded to an armed robbery at the 5000 block of Lakeshore Road. Surveillance footage showed a suspect wearing a black hoodie, red shirt, blue shorts, and black shoes arriving in a vehicle.

The following day, Friday, April 25, 2025, officers responded to a second robbery at the 5900 block of Warm Springs Road. The suspect, believed to be the same individual and wearing the same clothing, entered the business, requested merchandise, and left after implying he was armed.

Preliminary investigation identified Dominick Singleton as the suspect. Singleton was later apprehended in Harris County, Georgia, and charged with two counts of Robbery.
