Two Minors Arrested in Pelham Drive-By Shooting Investigated by GBI

At the request of the Pelham Police Department, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in Pelham. Two minors, a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The shooting occurred on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m. Two minors were struck by gunfire from a passing vehicle in between two duplexes on Welch Street in Pelham, Mitchell County, GA. Two other minors were shot at but were not injured.

One victim was treated and released from a local hospital, while the other was treated and released at the scene with a minor injury.

The 16-year-old and the 15-year-old were booked into the Mitchell County Jail and subsequently taken to a Youth Detention Center.
