Passengers Wanted in Florida, Georgia Nabbed During Bibb County Stop

A traffic stop initiated by a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputy on a Toyota Camry on Mercer University Drive resulted in multiple arrests and the discovery of outstanding warrants.

The deputy reportedly noticed the occupants of the Camry attempting to conceal themselves from view during a turn. According to a report, the vehicle displayed a license plate belonging to a Hyundai, and the driver’s license had been expired for seven years.

A female passenger was found to have an active warrant out of Santa Rosa County, Florida. The male passenger attempted to flee after refusing to cooperate with deputies but was quickly apprehended and found to have numerous outstanding arrest warrants.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has not yet released the names of those arrested or the specific charges related to the driver and the male passenger at this time, as the investigation is likely ongoing.
