Two Teens Injured in Marietta Shooting

Marietta Police officers responded to reports of a person shot on Roosevelt Circle at 1:24 PM this afternoon. While attending to the initial victim, officers received a second call regarding another gunshot victim in the same area.

Both teenage victims were transported to local hospitals – one to Wellstar Kennestone and the other to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta – with injuries that appear to be non-life-threatening.

Preliminary information indicates the shooting occurred near the intersection of North Marietta Parkway and Allgood Road. Detectives and officers are currently on the scene conducting interviews and gathering evidence.
