Monroe Police Respond to Intoxicated Man with Self-Inflicted Knife Wounds

On April 15th, 2025, at 9:14 P.M., officers from the City of Monroe Police Department responded to a call regarding an intoxicated person at 1450 South Broad Street in Monroe, GA.
Upon arrival at the complainant’s residence within the mobile home park, officers encountered a highly intoxicated male, identified as Abraham Domingo, who had self-inflicted knife wounds to his abdomen and throat. Domingo was armed with the knife he used to inflict the injuries.
Following a brief physical encounter, officers successfully took Domingo into custody without causing further injuries and immediately began administering medical aid. He was subsequently transported to an Atlanta area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
