Convicted Felon in Jones County Faces Additional Firearm Charges After Safe Search

Gary Yaughn, arrested on an existing warrant on April 8, 2025, is now facing six additional felony charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The original warrant, served by Jones County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Kasey Carr and Investigator Hall, included charges of Kidnapping (2 counts), False Imprisonment, Terroristic Threats and Acts, Criminal Trespass, Simple Battery, and Violation of Probation.
