Cartersville Man Found Guilty, Sentenced to 30 Years for Child Molestation in Paulding County

District Attorney Robert S. Lane has announced that Bradley Charles Gasaway, 48, of Cartersville, Georgia, was found guilty of Child Molestation on March 28, 2025.
The charges stemmed from an investigation by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office that began in March 2021 after a minor child reported that Gasaway had committed an act of child molestation. The child was 13 years old at the time of the offense.
The Honorable T. David Lyles sentenced Gasaway to 30 years, with 12 years to be served in the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections. Upon his release from prison, Gasaway will be placed on probation and will be required to register as a sex offender, along with other restrictions associated with a felony conviction.
The case was investigated by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Deidre Alexander of the Paulding Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
