Columbus Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Two Suspects in Macon Road Shooting

The Columbus Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two individuals, Adrian Davis, 29, and Shakella McKay, 30, in connection with a shooting that occurred on March 23, 2025, in the 3200 block of Macon Road.

At approximately 4:58 p.m., patrol officers responded to a 911 call reporting multiple gunshots in the parking lot of Aldi and AutoZone. Victims at the scene stated they were sitting in their vehicle when another vehicle opened fire, striking their car multiple times.

Following the investigation, Adrian Davis was identified as the alleged shooter and is wanted on warrants for:

  • Aggravated Assault x2
  • Drive-By Shooting
  • Damage to Property 2nd Degree
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime

Shakella McKay, identified as the alleged driver of the suspect vehicle, is wanted on warrants for:

  • Aggravated Assault x2
  • Drive-By Shooting
  • Damage to Property 2nd Degree

Authorities are advising that both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to contact Cpl. J. Berger at 706-225-4325 or to submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 706-653-3188.
